Elysian 35 – project boat
Moored in Hampton (no mooring available with this boat)
We have a 1971 Elysian 35 just come under brokerage.
This is a project boat and does need work, however it is a large spacious boat with a running engine and could provide a great home or holiday boat for someone after a bit of work.
‘Rippling Waters’ is a broads cruiser style boat with a centre cockpit and sliding roof. She is 34ft6 by 10 ft4. There is a running Perkins 4108 engine.
The outside of the boat needs painting and she will need antifouling. The windows do not appear to leak and the current owners have made new stern doors for her.
Internally there is a large living area which has new carpet and lining. There is a 3 seater sofa in there and there is still plenty of space.
Steps lead up to the galley and helm position. In the galley there is a sink with cold running water, a gas cooker (not connected) and a 240 fridge.
Steps then lead to the area where there is a V berth bed (this could be changed to a more standard bed. From here is the door into the bathroom. There is a shower tray in here and a disconnected and unusable water heater.
There are 240 electrics on her but these have not been tested and should be checked by an electrician before using for safety reasons.
Rippling Waters requires work to get her up to a standard when she can be lived on. There is no current boat safety certificate on her.
