‘Sumathi’ is a 60 x 12 widebeam that was built in 2012 by Cuttwater boats. She is on a mooring on Laleham Reach, with access to a shared garden area, in Chertsey where she can remain should the new owner wish.
Sumathi has been fitted out by the current owner who is now moving abroad, hence the reason for sale. She is powered by a 70hp Yanmar engine, which was serviced at the end of 2019 and has done relatively few hours since then. She will have a brand new boat safety certificate on her when sold. There is a survey from 2017 that can be viewed. She was last out and blacked and had new anodes in 2020.
Her accommodation is laid out as follows:
Double doors lead in to the wheelhouse. This is currently as a storage area but could easily be used as a seating area. There is good access to the engine bay. There are 6 x 120 ah leisure batteries. The 3kva inverter charger is housed in the wheelhouse.
Steps down to the main boat. You enter a large hall area, which again could be utilized as an office space or have more storage fitted. There is a large cupboard which houses the planar heater (this is run off diesel and heats numerous radiators throughout the boat). All of the windows in the main boat are double glazed.
There is a corridor leading to a door into the bedroom. This bedroom was originally 2 bedrooms and the 2nd door is still there if someone wanted to reinstate the second bedroom. The space as it is now creates a very spacious double bedroom with large freestanding wardrobe and double bed.
Next to the bedrooms is the bathroom with pumpout toilet (approx. 200l waste tank), bath with shower above and sink. The hot water is provided through the immersion or heating.
Continuing through the boat there is the open plan galley / living room. The galley has a gas cooker, fridge, washing machine, sink and storage. There is a log burner fitted and a sofa. Double doors lead out to the bow deck, which is a nice size with room for a bistro table and chairs or for storage.
The current owner has kept good records of the maintenance and upkeep of the boat and engine. Please note the picture of the boat in dry dock was taken in 2017.
Please get in touch with any questions or to arrange a viewing (which is strictly by appointment).
