Light and airy 34ft x 10ft 5 dutch steel river boat.which would make a great liveaboard, just come on the market.
Built in approx 1984 in Holland, this boat was designed for use on the Dutch canal system as a leisure boat. She was brought over to England in 2017 and has a boat safety certificate until Feb 2021.

She is currently moored on the Wey Navigation on a national trust leisure mooring. The owner has spoken to them and it is transferable, it costs approx £450 per quarter. Although you cannot live on this mooring, it can be stayed a few days a week.

Serengi has lots of ouside space including a large back deck. There are covers for the back deck, they are currently stored in the boat. There are wide gunnels down both sides and doors in on both sides and at the stern, making this a safe and easy boat to use.

The wheel house at the bow of the boat is very roomy, with lots of windows. The helm position is here with a leather captains chair and full access to all the controls. There is a large fixed table with seating. This can convert to a double bed but is currently fixed as a table. There is a diesel heating system mounted on the wall which heats the whole boat. Throughout the boat there is ample storage including under the bow, along both sides of the boat and the under the floor and seating. In this area the headroom is 6ft 4.

Steps lead down to the large living / galley area. The galley has a gas hob, sink and storage cupboards.  There is space for a fridge. Door to a large toilet with sink. There is lots of space in this room to add a shower.

There are 2 fixed beds / seating areas. One is a single and is a wider single. Lots of storage around this area of the boat. Steps lead up to door out to the stern deck.

The boat is powered by a diesel mercedes engine, with a bow thruster. There is an inverter charger, domestic battery bank and a small solar panel system. There is a VHF radio on board.

This is a really great boat with lots of space for entertaining, the current owner inherited it and has been using it as a leisure boat at weekends for him and his family. It would also make a great liveaboard and was being used as one when it first came to England.
